Gillespie Field Eagles

The Gillespie Field Eagles is a non-profit charitable organization* dedicated to providing aviation training to high school youth up to the age of eighteen. Our goal is to provide flight training to young adults who would not otherwise have the opportunity to the many career possibilities in aviation. We are supported by the local community, parents and interested individuals. All board members are volunteers who are active in the community and have an intense interest in today’s youth. Most have extensive aviation backgrounds and a willingness to share their knowledge and experience to the benefit of others.

Our flight instructors and mechanics are licensed volunteers who also donate their services to our students. The students are expected to support the program by assisting in the various activities necessary for the success of this program.
