To request membership, a prospective GFE student must complete a short essay and present it at one of the monthly meeting. After the presentation, the corporate officers will vote on membership. A prospective student must have parental or guardian permission to join and must be in possession of a signed form. Students are asked to donate $2 per month or $24 annually to offset expenses.
Additionally, fund raisers are held throughout the year and students are encouraged to support GFE with their participation.
Students should plan on attending the next available ground school class. Students are also required to attend monthly meetings four times per year.

All adults interested in supporting youth in aviation are welcome join and attend monthly meetings. Adult members are asked to donate $5 monthly to the organization to offset expenses. Adult volunteers are welcome to support fund raising activities, serve in officer or other positions with the organization and attend educational field trips.
